A.G.Trio release their 7th EP and find their way back to vocals – a successful combination of Electro, House and Pop-appeal.

For the turn of the year the A.G.Trio comes up with one more real blast. “Planet Disco” is an extensive EP with two original tracks in several versions and remixes.

The title track “Planet Disco” can be found in two different versions on the EP: one for the clubs and the version of the music video for “Planet Disco”, both by the A.G.Trio itself. The German-Austrian act Beef Theatre has done a rough electro remix with focus for the dancefloor.

“Crusade” is kind of a modern popsong with some house elements and a humorous text. It has been part of the Trio´s live-set for some time and proved to be a real darling of the audience. Producer and “Proper Nightlife” label-boss Just Banks – a friend of the A.G.Trio – did a breaks remix with a striking electro bassline.

Louie Austen – Flying Away

Recently seen online – “Louie Austen, living legend”. Yes it is rather rare nowadays to be labelled a legend when you`re still alive & aren´t pushing up daisies at all. But Louie´s always been an exception with his charm, kingpin voice & eloquence – the man´s a walking dictionary of 50ies showbiz expressions! This is what is usually called an entertainer but Louie has taken that label one step further & sort of developed the high art of electrotainment.

Last summer Louie released his “Too Good To Last” coop with Commercial Breakup & now finally the awaited follow-up`s here – the “MyAmy EP”, feat. 2 new tracks & 3 remixes. “Flying Away” has Louie resigned in world-weariness just wanting to get away. The title track is a homage & love declaration to Louie´s self-proclaimed `princess of sleaze` Amy Winehouse with the rèsumè that `Rehab´s for shitters`. Wait till Blake hears this.

On to the variations: While Mike Rigler adds a little pumping technoid House extravaganza to “Flying Away” at his remixer desk, The Bombjack are crowning “MyAmy” by dictating a whole Groove/Jazz/Funk orchestra. Just Banks is keeping it real and takes “Flying Away” literally by turning it into a smooth airy Minimal-Tech-House number. Right on, right on.

HPRC – Saint Here & Remixed

Today, the HPRC remix album called “Saint Here & Remixed” was released on FM Music.

Hot Pants Road Club are a legendary Funk Orchestra with a strong live fanbase around Middle Europe and they have released numerous albums since 1992 or so…

But it’s the first time ever that they are releasing a remix album – reworks of songs from their 2007 album “Saint Here”. Some really strong names amongst the artists whos delivered remixes: Parov Stelar, I-Wolf, Erdem Tunakan, Karl Moestl, Albin Janoska or Just Banks to name a few.
